Resin-free timber for wall panels, bench boards and barrel sauna construction — Grade A and Grade B, shipped weekly worldwide.
Every piece of sauna timber we supply is carefully selected for the demands of the environment. No resin. No defects. Graded and inspected so your installation performs from day one and holds up for decades.
We carry both traditional species — Aspen and Alder — and a full thermally modified range for clients who require enhanced performance, superior moisture resistance and a richer, deeper tone.
The classic sauna timber. Light, almost white, completely odour-neutral in high heat and stays cool to the touch even at high temperatures. The go-to choice for wall panels and bench boards.
A warm reddish tone with excellent thermal properties. Naturally resistant to warping and cracking in the alternating heat and humidity of sauna use. Highly sought after for its rich appearance.
Traditional Aspen put through the thermal modification process. Enhanced dimensional stability, a deeper honey tone, and superior resistance to moisture movement compared to untreated Aspen.
Rich, dark chocolate tones with significantly improved moisture resistance. The premium installation choice where appearance and longevity are both non-negotiable. Increasingly popular for high-end sauna builds.
Exceptional heat resistance and dimensional stability. Engineered for demanding high-temperature sauna environments where standard species would struggle. Low thermal conductivity, stays comfortable underfoot and to the touch.
Lining boards for sauna walls and ceilings. Profiles: DVS, STP, PRP, KYTE S and KYTE S Step. Available 15mm thick (45–150mm widths) or 18mm thick (140–185mm widths).
Ergonomic SHP profile boards for sauna seating — engineered for heat dissipation and comfort. Available in all five species, from cool-to-touch Aspen to rich Thermo Alder. Full dimensions in the spec section below.
Stave boards and structural components for barrel and pod sauna construction. Every profile and length available — pre-cut to specification on request.
Every board is graded A or Grade B at the mill before it reaches us. We inspect again before packing. Our standard means no splits, no large knots, no resin pockets — the things that cause problems in sauna environments.

Aspen and Alder are the most popular traditional choices — they are naturally resin-free, stay cool to the touch and handle high humidity well. For enhanced performance, Thermo Aspen and Thermo Alder offer superior moisture resistance and deeper, richer tones.
Traditional species like Aspen and Alder perform excellently in standard sauna conditions. Thermally modified timber — Thermo Aspen, Thermo Alder and Thermo Radiata — goes through a heat and steam treatment process that dramatically improves dimensional stability, moisture resistance and durability. No chemicals are used.
We stock standard tongue-and-groove profiles in 90mm and 120mm widths for wall panels and ceilings. Bench boards are available in multiple thicknesses and widths. Custom profiles and lengths are available on request.
